Fridays 13:30 - 15:30
A group of young performers aged S1+ who work across artforms to develop existing skills and learn brand new ones. We don't stick to one thing we're in between lots of different disciplines and always trying new ways to be creative.
This year we will be working on a project called 'We ❤️ Fridays!' exploring the theme of love. How many kinds of love can you think of? The love we have for friends? Family? Crisps? This is a Multi-Artform project including Drama, Music, Dance and Visual Art led by Jo Sharp where we will ask 'what does a loving community look like?'
Culture Crew

The Culture Crew are a group of young programmers, who work alongside the Lyra team to design and organise Lyra’s performance programme at Artspace.
You’ll learn about everything behind the scenes of the creative industries and develop skills in organising events, marketing and promotion, technical theatre... and more.
Lyra Young Company
Age group: S1+
Regular meetings held on Tuesdays 17:00 - 19:00
Lyra Young Company is an ensemble of performers with skills in theatre, music and dance. We work together to collaboratively devise contemporary performance, creating a new piece every year through a range of creative styles and tasks. Auditions to take part in the Young Company are held once every year.
